Gemma Nourse is a PhD candidate based in NDRI’s Melbourne office. Her PhD examines gender and embodiment in relation to men’s use of Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs (PIEDs), as part of SSAC’s Australian Research Council-funded project on PIED injecting among Australian men.
Gemma has previously worked in the mental health sector in Canberra and Melbourne, in sub-acute, residential and community settings, and has worked across women’s services, youth services, drug and alcohol, complex care and outpatient services.
